About David Anthes
A Career Built Through Technical Skill and Responsibility
David Anthes has worked in rope access for more than fifteen years, supporting wind turbine inspection, composite and blade repair, electrical component installation, and technician supervision. His experience includes planning and executing large-scale maintenance projects across multiple sites while maintaining consistent safety and reporting standards.
His work requires balancing hands-on technical execution with coordination, documentation, and communication. Field conditions often change, and his approach emphasizes preparation, adaptability, and clear decision making.
Before transitioning into the wind industry, David Anthes spent twelve years on professional ski patrol in Lake Tahoe. In that role, he provided emergency medical care, participated in rescue operations, supported training programs for new hires, and worked alongside risk management teams during incident reviews.
This experience reinforced the importance of calm assessment, teamwork, and accountability in environments where decisions carry immediate consequences.
David Anthes earned a degree in psychology from Arizona State University and completed additional coursework through Lake Tahoe Community College. His education supported a deeper understanding of communication, human behavior under pressure, and structured decision making.
He also completed contract-based legal support work earlier in his career, strengthening his attention to detail, organization, and documentation practices.
